Game Design
Game design focuses on creating an engaging and memorable player experience, built upon the Mechanics, Dynamics, and Aesthetics (MDA) framework. Successful design involves iterative processes of prototyping, testing, and balancing to ensure fairness and fun. Essential components include clear feedback loops, player autonomy, narrative depth, and a balanced progression and reward system. It it therefore both an art and a science.
