๐
Date: April 25, 2025
โฐ Time: 13:00 - 16:00
๐ Place: Fontys ICT InnovationLab, Strijp TQ4-2 Stage, Eindhoven
At Dogfood Studios we aim to nurture these budding Game Studios and to equip them with the resources and support needed to potentially transform their projects into viable businesses or graduation projects. But first, they must impress a panel of industry professionals.
๐บ Pitching guidelines
You’ve got 5 minutes to make an impact, so preparation is key!
Suggested pitch structure:
- Introduction (30sec) - Elevator pitch brief for your game and your studio
- Game Concept (1min) - Dive into the narrative, unique mechanics and aesthetics
- Goal & Vision (45sec) - Chart out your short-term (10 weeks) and long-term visions
- Feasibility (45sec) - Back your goal with evidence such as market research or community response
- Team Strength (45sec) - Why you can pull this off, and what your hiring needs are
- Business Model (45sec) - Demonstrate your financial strategy
- Closing (30sec) - Final statement and invitation to the dragons
Show a well prepared vertical slice demo or trailer of your game (1min) as a video. Also make sure you have a playable build for during the drinks session afterwards.
The dragons then have about 10 minutes for feedback and to make up their minds, for the ultimate binary choice (Yay/Nay).
Do they believe your team, with your plan, and your game can achieve your goal?
