Expand the engaging Kistsurfer game, controlled by a physical motion platform, that transports players into a thrilling endless runner experience through an abandoned factory
De Ontdekfabriek aims to create a unique interactive experience by combining a physical motion platform with a digital game. The platform will consist of a crate mounted on three springs, allowing visitors to physically shift the crate’s position, which will be tracked and translated into game input.
Earlier groups developed a captivating endless runner-style game. Check it out here! Players “surf” through a virtual abandoned factory while perched atop a suspended crate. This innovative provides an exhilarating and immersive gaming experience that aligns with De Ontdekfabriek’s mission of sparking curiosity and innovation.
The game’s narrative and visuals draws inspiration from De Ontdekfabriek’s origins as a repurposed factory, now filled with intriguing crates housing remnants of past inventions.
The goal of this project is to take this game to the next level.
