Design a multiplayer game for primary school children to memorize multiplication tables where the multiplayer mechanics invite children to keep on practicing
Primary school children need an own approach to learning math. Next to regular school materials, Zwijsen offers Semsom practice software for children to practice the material at home.
Zwijsen would like to expand the software catalogue with a multiplayer experience for children to make automating multiplication tables more fun.
Scope and Requirements
The game must be:
- Playable in a web interface on a laptop with Chromebook specs
- Have a multiplayer component
- Use competitive or cooperative mechanics
- Fun for all kids at all skill levels (using buffs and debuffs for instance)
- Must invite children to keep on practicing
The game should be about automating/memorizing the multiplication tables. The game must show the multiplications explicitly.
Starting Resources
Existing materials and assets of Semsom are available.
Expected Deliverables
- Playable game (prototype)
- Gameplay trailer
